Our Story

How It Started

Our journey began 28 years ago, in 1995, in the small town of Graaff-Reinet. Newly married and ready to carve out a future, our founders, Johan and Quinta Dercksen, started a small family-run business originally called Melamine Corner.

Armed with just a few workers and basic equipment, they put their skills to work. Today, Me&Co boasts a devoted team of over 100 employees, operating out of a massive 4,600 m² factory. Together, we proudly produce over 70,000 pieces of furniture annually.

While we've grown over the decades, our belief in our local roots remains completely unchanged. Every piece of Me&Co flatpack and pre-assembled furniture is designed and manufactured from scratch right here in South Africa.
