Materials

We use A-grade PU board and MDF sourced from some of South Africa’s best manufacturers. All hardware features an anti-rust coating for lasting quality.

Product Care
  1. Proper care should be taken in caring for your furniture.
  2. Clean with a damp cloth and avoid using furniture oil / wax or chemicals. Using these can cause irreparable damage, which is not covered by the me&co warranty.
  3. Lift furniture instead of pushing or pulling to prevent damage.
  4. Keep doors and drawers secure during transportation.
Customisation

Customising furniture can be an expensive project. However, if the quantities are sufficient, we will gladly provide a quotation. Custom orders may have extended lead times compared to standard products. All custom orders require a deposit before production begins.

Assembly & Installation

Products bought online are delivered flatpacked and require assembly. All necessary hardware and instructions are provided. Customers are advised to follow the provided instructions carefully to ensure the product’s integrity and safety. We are not responsible for damages caused by incorrect assembly.

Delivery
Delivery Cost

National delivery to The Courier Guy's regional and main centres are free (included in the price you see on the website). Delivery to remote and high risk areas are additionally charged and will be calculated at checkout, when you enter your delivery address.

Delivery Time

After placing an order, expect an immediate e-mail response to confirm your order.

Allow approximately 5-7 working days for the order to be captured, manufactured, and delivered.

Estimated delivery times are subject to change based on location, type of item purchased, and other factors.

We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party transportation or unforeseen circumstances.

Customers will immediately be informed of any significant delays in their delivery.

Process

The order process includes securing payment, quality checks and packaging, and delivery.

No changes, add-ons, or cancellations can be made once the order is scheduled for delivery.

Receipt

Upon delivery, inspect the goods to ensure satisfaction. The driver is responsible for contacting us if any problems occur during transit or delivery.

Returns & Refunds
Returns

We do not accept returns or offer refunds for non-defective products.

In the case of a non-warranty-related return, you are responsible for all delivery costs, and a restocking fee may apply.

All returns must be in their original condition and packaging.

Returns Window Period

Returns must be initiated within a week (seven days) after receipt.

Warranty & Repairs
Warranty

We provide a limited warranty of six months from the date of purchase on all products.

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, neglect, unauthorised repairs, modifications, or improper assembly.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, such as scratches, fading, or minor fabric pilling.

Water damage is also not covered by warranty.

Any damage caused by third-party transportation or delivery services is not covered under our warranty.

Claims

Upon verification of a valid warranty claim, we will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the defective part or product.

You are responsible for all delivery costs associated with the warranty claim.

If the original product or part is no longer available, we reserve the right to substitute with a similar product or part of equal value.

Claims Process
  • Warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase, such as a receipt or invoice.
  • The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the furniture.
  • The warranty does not cover any consequential or incidental damages arising from the use or inability to use the furniture product.
  • The warranty will be void if you've failed to follow the provided care and maintenance instructions, the furniture is misused in any way, any unauthorised repairs or modifications were performed.
Repairs

Free of Charge:

  • Maintenance procedures were followed correctly.
  • The product was used for its intended purpose.
  • It is a genuine me&co product.
  • The product was not modified in any way.


Charged for Labour Only:

  • The product was used abnormally.
  • Maintenance procedures were not followed.
  • The product was modified.
Repairs Procedure
  1. The product must be returned to the retailer (or us directly, if bought online).
  2. A delivery fee will be charged if you cannot drop the items off at the shop or our factory.
  3. Collection and delivery fees are applicable when items need to be repaired / returned. These costs are not covered by the warranty.
  4. You will be informed when the factory inspection report is received.
  5. The repair fee or cost will be forwarded to you (if applicable).
  6. The repairing process will only commence once the quote is approved.
  7. A consultant will contact you once the goods are received back (repaired) from the factory.
  8. Goods will only be released once payment clears.
